Owner and Employee Toni Harris started this company to help Seniors or the family of Seniors who are looking for a little piece of mind knowing their Seniors are cared for when they can't be there. Living in a rural area myself, I often see Seniors who greatly benefit from such a service. There are many Non-Profit, OHIP covered options, however my service is to fill in the gaps that are missing from such services, GoodWay HomeCare has no minimum or maximum hours that you can receive. When you hire GoodWay HomeCare, YOU are the boss, you decide what is best for you and when.

Toni Harris has a clean criminal record and vulnerable sector check, fully licenced, and insured. I have a College Diploma for Medical Office Assistant. First Aid/CPR certified, completed Epilepsy/Seizure First Aid with the Epilepsy Support Center, Certified Parkinson's Disease Education Program Trainer, a member of Norwich Optimist Club, had training with concussion awareness and management, understanding grief training, is Health and Safety certified, WHMIS trained, and currently taking online courses. I have passed the Senior Advocacy online course. Currently registered for an Arthritis Chronic Pain Management Course in February 2015, and registered for Living a Healthy Life program starting in January 2015.

 

At GoodWay HomeCare, we feel that ALL of our Seniors have the right to feel safe and comfortable in their homes. If our Customers have any comments, concerns, or complaints on staff, vehicles, job completion, or quality of duties we need to hear about them immediately! All of our Customers have the right to be treated in a courteous and respectful manner. If you are not comfortable talking with the home care employee who visits, please let our administration know right away! Any and all issues are important to us, and the sooner we know about it, the quicker we can fix the problem!! Please don't hesitate, we will make it right by you. Seniors who recieve in home care opposed to Nursing/Retirement Homes tend to live longer, are less depressed, and feel more comfortable living in their own homes, and are more mobile. In home care is a lot less expensive then living in a facility, and you get to keep your own schedule and routines if you have in home care.
